Calne’s Big Dementia Day

A Health & Well-Being Event organised by Calne Health & Social Care Forum (CHSCF) in association with Calne & Yatton Keynell Primary Care Network and Calne Area Board.

Visit the Explorer Dome’s Brain Dome for an immersive experience of dementia (show times below – booking required). The show is a live, presenter-led voyage inside the brain to explore basic neuroscience and promote discussion around keeping our brains healthy. Visitors can attend a Dementia Information session (10.30am) and join in Music for the Mind at 12 noon as well as find out about support for those living with dementia or caring for someone with dementia from Alzheimers’ Support and other organisations. We will also be inviting feedback on what visitors think about local services for dementia.
