LPS Events

LPS Events organise a range of sporting events around Wiltshire. Our local events to Calne include the prestigious Bowood House Triathlon where the swim takes place in the idyllic water of Bowood Lake, the cycle ventures around the estate road networks and finishes with the run around the fine manicured gardens.

Bowood House Triathlon is an award winner and host to the IRC qualifier event, which caterers for all abilities age 8 and upwards. Towards the end of the season, we return to the venue with Bowood House Duathlon.

Our other local event is Oldbury White Horse Triathlon, which again caters for ages from 7 upwards for triathlon and a supporting fun run for those younger. The childrens triathlon takes place within the safety of the sports fields at Calne Leisure Centre and the sprint triathlon sees competitors start with the swim at Calne Leisure Centre, before cycling past Oldbury White Horse (Cherhill) and finishing with a run towards Blacklands. This event has attracted over 2000 triathletes since it began including world and european championships, with over 50% of these being complete beginners.
